Job Details
This role is in support of Cencora's global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business.
In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating a fleet of drivers to make collections and deliveries of time and temperature sensitive consignments across the Stuttgart region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Allocations of collections and deliveries to Stuttgart driving team - arranging the transport of time critical and temperature controlled pharmaceutical shipments
Route planning as efficiently as possible, as well as arranging ad-hoc changes as required
Communicating to drivers the relevant information appropriate to the consignment
Preparation of Specialist packaging and temperature controlled consignments which include the filling of Liquid nitrogen dry shippers
Refurbishment of packaging and general warehouse duties
Downloading and processing of temperature control data
Requirements:
High level of concentration and attention to detail and the ability to understand and distribute varied information during critical and busy times.
At least 3 years of driver dispatch/controlling/transport planning experience
Previous experience in freight or courier industry - ideally working with temperature controlled, time sensitive deliveries such as pharmaceuticals
Extensive knowledge of the country, with a good general knowledge of the Stuttgart road network
Adaptable and able to perform well under pressure
Well-developed prioritization skills
Strong verbal and written communication
Excellent problem solving skills
Must have the ability to interact with associates at all levels.
