Specific Responsibilities Would Include

Overall Responsibilities

Assist the senior merchandiser /manager to support full-cycle merchandising workflows covering sourcing, product development, costing, order arrangement and shipment ETD tracking; coordinate communications with all relevant stakeholders to support stable daily merchandising operation and safeguard company interests.

Sourcing, product development and costing - Assist to source new fabric, trims and factory resources for seasonal development offers - Coordinate sample distribution of fabric and garment styles to relevant mills and factories, assist to guarantee samples are ready on schedule for customer meetings - Assist to prepare garment sample requests, coordinate sample status tracking and regular updates to NY counterparts; coordinate sample inspection, sorting and dispatch work - Assist to organize complete costing packages and templates for vendor quotation; coordinate communication with NY team and respond to all costing inquiries raised by vendors; assist to compile costing comparison sheets for supervisor review; coordinate price discussion follow-ups with vendors under supervisor guidance

Order follow-up - Assist supervisors to coordinate order and price discussion with vendors to support profit margin optimization - Coordinate daily communication with vendors and production teams to track critical production timelines, assist to maintain on-time production and delivery plans - Assist to review and verify POW documents to confirm all order information is accurate - Coordinate full follow-up of lab-dips, strike-offs, fit samples and all customer sample requirements - Assist to review UPC labels, price tickets and carton marking information for confirmation - Coordinate regular WIP status updates to avoid any shipment delay risks - Assist with routine order administration: prepare finalized costing documents and coordinate ticket preparation for PO creation - Ass ist to monitor factory production progress, coordinate inspection scheduling and shipping space reservation arrangements- Others - Coordinate with supervisors to assist resolving discrepancies and issues between buyers and vendors to maintain smooth business operation - Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to synchronize order progress and delivery updates - Assist to collect issue information and coordinate timely progress reporting to supervisors - Assist supervisors with data sorting, summary and regular report preparation

Additional Requirements

- Bachelor / College graduate majoring in Apparel Manufacturing, Textile Merchandising or other related disciplines, fresh graduates are welcome- Basic understanding of apparel merchandising workflow, relevant internship experience is preferred- Fundamental knowledge of garment manufacturing including garment construction, fabric, trims and printing processes- Eagerness to learn latest merchandising industry trends and standard working procedures- Good coordination, vendor communication and teamwork skills- Solid written and verbal communication skills- Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; basic Adobe software operation ability is a plus
