Job Title: Shipping Coordinator
Reports to: Shipping Manager
Location: On-site, Lodi, NJ
Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:30pm
About the role: The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the shipping process within the warehouse. This role ensures that products are shipped accurately, timely, and cost-effectively while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist drivers (Pick Up, Carriers) at check in and assign designated door.
- Prints delivery receipts and packing lists for Hand Delivery and PU order.
- Helps maintain workflow for warehouse and planning wave for Pick Up (small orders), Hand Delivery and Parcel orders.
- Troubleshoots Pick Up and HD orders.
- Creates manual labels (Fedex or UPS) when needed.
- Assists Customer Service with all inquiries for PU and HD.
- Files all POD’s (proof delivery), pick tickets and BOL’S documents.
- Verifies PU and HD orders are completed by the end of day.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in logistics required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) systems and concepts
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Able to give and receive feedback
- Critical thinking and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong organization and follow-up skills
- High sense of urgency to resolve issues that arise
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
