POSITION INFO:
Personal Lines UnderwriterLocation: Fourways Job Type: Permanent Seniority Level: Mid Career (3 - 6 years experience)Duties and Responsibilities:

• New business quotations and policy alterations
• Policy development and issuing
• Review insurance applications for necessary information and accuracy
• Premium calculation
• Explain policy terms and conditions to clients and guide risk management
• Provide notifications of accounts in arrears to clients and follow up on payments
• Policy retentions
• Processing cancelation instructions from clients and insurers where retention is not possible
• Annual renewals and policy reviews
• Document management and record keeping
• Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment of insurance processes
• Engage in continuous learning and development
• Adherence to company standard operating procedures and service level agreements

• RE 5, FETC In Short Term Insurance NQF 4, Class of Business - Personal Lines
• 3+ years' experience in Personal Lines Underwriting
• Must have broker experience
