CGI is a Canadian IT and business consulting services firm headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, offering strategic consulting, systems integration, managed IT and application services and its own software products. Founded in 1976 and listed on the Toronto and New York stock exchanges, it employs about 94,000 consultants and professionals worldwide, with large operations in France, Canada, the United States through CGI Federal, the UK and India. Its openings include generative AI developers and tech leads, Java and Angular developers, business analysts, geomatics developers, cloud engineers with security clearance and graduate programmes.
At CGI, we’re helping transform the UK justice system by delivering innovative digital services that make courts and tribunals more effective, accessible and responsive to the public. As a Business Analyst supporting one of our key UK Government client programmes, you’ll play a vital role in shaping solutions that improve essential public services. Working collaboratively with clients and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll take ownership of requirements, challenge existing processes and bring creative thinking to complex problems. You’ll have the opportunity to influence meaningful change, contribute to continuous improvement and develop your expertise within a supportive community of professionals committed to delivering lasting value for our clients and society.
CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.
Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.
Working within an Agile environment, you will collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including user researchers, user experience specialists and service designers, to ensure solutions meet business and user needs. • Model & Document: Develop business process models, functional flows and data models to support solution design and development.
• Translate & Communicate: Convert complex business requirements into clear functional specifications, business rules and solution documentation.
• Challenge & Improve: Identify opportunities to simplify processes, enhance user experiences and drive continuous service improvements.
• Support Agile Delivery: Work collaboratively throughout the delivery lifecycle, responding to queries, clarifying requirements and supporting successful implementation.
• Validate & Assure: Review and refine solution documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness and alignment with agreed business requirements.
