CGI

CGI is a Canadian IT and business consulting services firm headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, offering strategic consulting, systems integration, managed IT and application services and its own software products. Founded in 1976 and listed on the Toronto and New York stock exchanges, it employs about 94,000 consultants and professionals worldwide, with large operations in France, Canada, the United States through CGI Federal, the UK and India. Its openings include generative AI developers and tech leads, Java and Angular developers, business analysts, geomatics developers, cloud engineers with security clearance and graduate programmes.
At CGI, we're helping transform public services by delivering innovative digital solutions that make a meaningful difference to people's lives. As a Product Manager initially supporting one of our key clients in Scotland (a major public healthcare organisation), you'll help shape digital healthcare services that improve user experiences, support healthcare professionals and deliver lasting value. You'll take ownership of product delivery and continuous improvement, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to turn complex challenges into accessible, effective solutions. You'll have the opportunity to influence decisions, explore creative approaches and contribute to the future of digital healthcare in Scotland. Supported by a collaborative community of experts, you'll develop your skills, grow your career and help deliver technology that makes a genuine difference.

CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.

Whilst this is a hybrid position you should ideally be based within commutable distance of a CGI Office or be based in Scotland.

Profil recherché

In this role, you will take ownership of digital products and services supporting our client, helping deliver solutions that improve healthcare experiences and operational effectiveness across Scotland. You'll guide products through their lifecycle, from discovery and development to delivery and continuous improvement, ensuring decisions are informed by user needs, evidence and organisational priorities. Working alongside designers, researchers, engineers and delivery managers, you'll translate complex requirements into clear product priorities and measurable outcomes.

You'll build trusted relationships with healthcare stakeholders, encourage innovation and champion accessible, inclusive digital services. You'll have the freedom to explore new approaches, influence product direction and contribute to meaningful improvements, supported by experienced colleagues and a collaborative team committed to delivering positive outcomes for public services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead & Deliver: Manage digital products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring solutions deliver measurable value for NHS Scotland and its service users.

• Shape & Prioritise: Develop and maintain product roadmaps, balancing healthcare priorities, user needs, technical feasibility and delivery objectives.

• Champion User Needs: Collaborate with researchers and designers to understand the needs of healthcare professionals, patients and other service users.

• Measure & Improve: Establish product KPIs, analyse performance data and identify opportunities to improve service quality, accessibility and efficiency.

• Engage & Influence: Build effective relationships with client stakeholders, communicating product priorities, progress and decisions clearly.

• Collaborate & Innovate: Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, user-centred solutions to complex healthcare challenges.

• Manage Risk & Change: Identify delivery risks, manage competing priorities and adapt product plans in response to evolving requirements.

• Support & Develop: Share knowledge, contribute to product management best practices and promote continuous improvement across delivery teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

To succeed in this role, you'll bring experience in digital product delivery or a related discipline, with an understanding of agile ways of working, user-centred design and evidence-based decision-making. You'll be comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, engaging stakeholders and translating complex requirements into practical solutions. Experience within healthcare or the wider public sector would be beneficial, but we also welcome candidates with transferable digital skills who are motivated to improve public services.

You should have:

• Digital Product Experience: Experience managing or contributing to digital products and services across different lifecycle stages.

• Product Roadmaps & Prioritisation: Ability to establish priorities, maintain product roadmaps and balance user needs with business objectives.

• Agile Delivery: Understanding of agile methodologies, iterative development and continuous improvement.

• User-Centred Design: Experience applying user research, accessibility and inclusive design principles to digital services.

• Data & Performance Analysis: Ability to interpret product metrics, user feedback and performance data to support informed decisions.

• Stakeholder Management: Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills across multidisciplinary environments.

• Collaborative Working: Ability to work effectively with designers, researchers, engineers and delivery professionals.

• Problem-Solving: Confidence in identifying challenges, evaluating options and adapting approaches to deliver effective outcomes.

• Healthcare or Public Sector Awareness: An appreciation of the challenges and opportunities involved in delivering digital services within complex, regulated environments.

• Continuous Development: A willingness to learn, share knowledge and contribute to an inclusive, supportive team culture.
