eDiscovery Deputy Program Manager

CGS is seeking an eDiscovery Deputy Program Manager to join our team supporting the legal mission of a large state agency. The eDiscovery Deputy Program Manager oversees the daily operational and technical execution of litigation support services. They will assist the Program Manager in leading team personnel, refining workflows, and managing technology platforms. They will ensure that all electronic data collection, processing, hosting, review, and production deliverables meet stringent quality, timeline, and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Operational Execution: Coordinate day-to-day operations of the eDiscovery team, including monitoring of priority tasks, deadline tracking, and maintaining accurate project trackers.

· Technical Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce monitoring and quality control protocols for all phases of the EDRM encompassing data collection through production.

· Team Supervision: Provide daily oversight, consultation, and support for eDiscovery project managers, data analysts, forensic analysts, and technical staff supporting the engagement.

· Vendor & Tool Management: Coordinate with eDiscovery leads and vendors to ensure data management tools and environments (such as Relativity) are optimized for optimal performance.

· Acting Leadership: Assume full management responsibilities for the eDiscovery program in the absence of the Program Manager.

Required Qualifications

· Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in eDiscovery project management or litigation support operations.

· Leadership: 1+ years of experience leading teams, supervising staff, or managing complex operational shifts.

· Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in managing databases within Relativity or equivalent EDRM processing and review engines.

· Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot critical database issues and database errors under tight court deadlines.

· Knowledge Management: Experience managing and organizing information pertaining to large and complex litigations involving multiple cases, courts, jurisdictions, and plaintiffs.

Preferred Certifications:

Certified eDiscovery Specialist (CEDS), Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA), Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Relativity Specialist (Project Management, Data Management, Analytics, Review Management)
