Senior Account Executive - Social Media (Anime)

Chain Reaction is looking for a Senior Account Executive to lead the day-to-day management of a major global anime streaming account across Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

This is not a traditional support role. You will act as the primary liaison between the agency and the client, taking ownership of the relationship, content planning, execution, reporting, and the overall quality of work delivered.

A strong understanding of anime culture is essential, including major titles, seasonal releases, fandom trends, and MENA communities. You should be able to turn that knowledge into timely, relevant, and engaging content.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in social media or account management, preferably within a regional agency.
• Strong and genuine knowledge of anime culture, including major titles, seasonal releases, fandom trends, and MENA communities.
• Proven ability to manage day-to-day client relationships independently, including expectations and difficult conversations.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics, content formats, and community engagement.
• Full professional fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working with entertainment, streaming, gaming, or youth-focused brands is a strong advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and deadline management.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with creative, copy, community, and strategy teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day client communication, including status calls and strategic reviews.
• Build strong client relationships, manage expectations, and proactively address potential issues.
• Lead monthly content planning across anime releases, MENA cultural moments, and platform trends.
• Coordinate with creative and copy teams to develop relevant, audience-focused content.
• Review content and copy to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with the brand’s tone.
• Schedule and publish content across social media platforms accurately and on time.
• Stay up to date with anime releases, fandom conversations, and trending moments to identify content opportunities.
• Oversee community management to ensure a consistent, fan-first, and culturally relevant brand voice.
• Identify real-time engagement opportunities and know when issues should be escalated.
• Own monthly and quarterly performance reporting, turning data into clear insights and recommendations.
• Use performance insights to improve future content plans and account performance.
