Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

As a Facility Coordinator supporting our Lone Tree retail location, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and reliable workplace where employees can focus on serving clients. You will coordinate day-to-day facility services, connect business partners with the right resources, and help ensure repairs, workplace changes, vendor activities, and service requests are completed accurately and on time.

This role is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and building relationships. You will collaborate with Corporate Real Estate leaders, retail office teams, technology and security partners, and service vendors while developing valuable experience in facilities operations, vendor coordination, workplace services, invoicing, and property data management.

What you’ll do

  • Build trusted relationships with Corporate Real Estate staff, service vendors, and retail office employees who request facility support for the assigned location.
  • Monitor open and pending work orders each day, track progress, communicate status, and support timely resolution of service requests.
  • Coordinate with service providers performing repairs, maintenance, supply replenishment, and general workplace services in alignment with contract terms and the direction of Senior Facility Managers.
  • Assist service providers with office and security-badge access, work scheduling, and coordination with onsite business partners.
  • Prepare and review vendor invoices accurately and on time so payments are processed in accordance with Schwab vendor-management and accounts-payable requirements.
  • Maintain building inspection records and partner with Senior Facility Managers to document and close related work orders.
  • Verify occupied and vacant seating, identify discrepancies, and update records in Schwab’s computer-aided facility management system.
  • Maintain property information, including address, ownership, and emergency-contact updates.
  • Support quarterly business reviews for applicable facility-management service providers.
  • Assist with operating-budget tracking and variance explanations when assigned.
  • Coordinate ergonomic work orders and execute established processes with care and responsiveness.
  • Support moves, additions, and changes, including furniture reconfiguration, seating adjustments, and restacking.
  • Assist with event and conference setup to help create a positive employee and visitor experience.
  • Identify opportunities to improve coordination, communication, recordkeeping, and service delivery.

What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 years of related experience in customer service or an administrative environment, or at least 1 year of facility-management experience.
  • Experience reading and following instructions, responding to email inquiries, and preparing routine correspondence, work-order notes, or status updates.
  • Ability to communicate professionally by phone and in writing, ask thoughtful questions, and respond constructively to concerns or service issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, remain composed under pressure, and use sound judgment when resolving moderately complex problems.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn computerized maintenance-management, computer-aided facility-management, and project-planning tools.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, vendors, managers, and cross-functional partners while maintaining a service-focused approach.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience coordinating facilities, workplace services, property operations, vendor activities, work orders, invoices, or office moves.
  • Familiarity with service contracts, leases, accounts-payable processes, building inspections, space-allocation records, or vendor-management practices.
  • Experience with a computerized maintenance-management system or computer-aided facility-management system.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, follow-through, organization, and a commitment to creating a positive workplace experience.

Please note: this position is Monday - Friday in the office, five days/week 8AM - 5PM. It is only available at the Lone Tree, CO location. Candidate must reside in/near or be willing to relocate on their own to the listed location.
