What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.
Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.
This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.
Internship responsibilities may include:
- Support Salesforce and CSML development tasks for ongoing delivery projects
- Assist with analysis and integrations between Salesforce, RingCentral-related systems and downstream provisioning systems
- Participate in testing, defect validation and troubleshooting for product launch and provisioning changes
- Create and organize technical documentation, process flows and knowledge transfer materials
- Support automation, configuration and development activities for new product creation and product change workflows
- Help document business processes, integration touchpoints and system dependencies
- Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint deliverables and other engineering activities under supervision
Required Qualifications
- Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
- Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java, C++, JavaScript, SQL and relational database concepts
- Understanding of CI/CD fundamentals and version control practices
- Basic knowledge of APIs and system integrations
- Interest in Salesforce development and enterprise application architecture
- Ability to troubleshoot, test and analyze issues across integrated systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce platform concepts, backend service development, provisioning workflows and downstream system integration patterns
