Senior Software Development Engineer - Salesforce Service Cloud

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications, primarily using Service Cloud.
- Develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce.
- Write optimized SOQL and SOSL queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, flows, security settings, and other platform features as required.
- Implement and maintain Service Cloud capabilities, including Case Management, Service Console, Omni-Channel, and Knowledge.
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Manage Salesforce metadata and deployments using Metadata API, Copado, and related deployment tools.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, release management, version control, and deployment automation.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices, coding standards, and governor limits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production defects.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions, solution design, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
- Strong practical experience with Salesforce Service Cloud.
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce.
- Strong knowledge of SOQL and SOSL queries.
- Experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, and platform security.
- Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP integrations and API development.
- Experience with Salesforce Metadata API, Copado, and deployment management.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, source control, and release management processes.
- Experience with Case Management, Service Console, Omni-Channel, and Knowledge.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring junior team members.
