Accounting Officer

Position Summary

The Accounting Officer plays a key role within the Finance Department, ensuring the accurate processing of financial transactions, maintenance of accounting records, and timely support of reporting and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries accurately and timely.
• Perform supplier, customer, and bank reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare schedules and information required for audits and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related initiatives as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting or finance environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
