FMCG Sales Representative
Chemtech Group, Riche Terre
Chemtech Group distributes fast-moving consumer goods across Mauritius, supplying supermarkets, pharmacies, and retail outlets. We are looking to strengthen our FMCG sales team.
The role
Managing and growing a portfolio of retail and trade customers across an assigned territory. The work covers regular customer visits, securing orders, launching new products, following up on collections, and reporting on market and competitor activity.
Three things are central to this role. Shelf visibility: our products must be well placed, properly displayed, and correctly priced in every outlet, and this is directly the responsibility of the person in this position. Customer relationships: buyers and outlet owners must know and trust our representative. Product availability: the full range must be on shelf, with out-of-stocks acted on immediately. These are the core of the job, not an afterthought.
We expect our sales people to know their territory properly and to spend their time on the ground rather than behind a desk.
Requirements
Minimum two years' working experience in FMCG sales or trade distribution. A valid driving licence and a willingness to travel across the island daily are essential. We are looking for candidates who are self-driven, comfortable with targets, organised in following up, and able to communicate clearly in English, French, and Creole.

Location
1-10 Sainte Marie Road, 21813, Riche Terre, Mauritius. The role is field based, reporting to this office.
