Accounting Analyst

Our rapidly expanding new Chubb Engineering Center in Greece (CECG) is integrated with the Engineering Centers in India and Mexico to support our global technology needs and digital business transformation, as well as the company's operations in the Europe - Middle East - Africa region operating in 27 countries.

Currently, Chubb is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities in accordance with local GAAP, Greek statutory requirements, and Group accounting policies
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and supporting variance analysis
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounting records, financial statements, and supporting schedules in accordance with local regulations
• Support the preparation of documentation for statutory, tax, and external audits
• Assist with VAT, withholding tax, and other accounting/tax compliance-related reporting as required under Greek legislation
• Support the timely submission of accounting and statutory deliverables in line with applicable Greek filing and reporting deadlines
• Monitor and implement audit recommendations and internal control improvements
• Follow internal control procedures relevant to assigned processes and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance in all accounting activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Economics
• 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
• Familiarity with Greek statutory accounting and tax compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
