Currently, Chubb is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our team. Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities in accordance with local GAAP, Greek statutory requirements, and Group accounting policies
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and supporting variance analysis
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounting records, financial statements, and supporting schedules in accordance with local regulations
- Support the preparation of documentation for statutory, tax, and external audits
- Assist with VAT, withholding tax, and other accounting/tax compliance-related reporting as required under Greek legislation
- Support the timely submission of accounting and statutory deliverables in line with applicable Greek filing and reporting deadlines
- Monitor and implement audit recommendations and internal control improvements
- Follow internal control procedures relevant to assigned processes and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance in all accounting activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Economics
- 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
- Familiarity with Greek statutory accounting and tax compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
