Own the ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and operational reliability of the data platform.
Build data products to drive the self-service data culture in the company and champions use of new tools (AI/BI) to make the delivery of insights faster.
Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators and develop Machine learning models to build
Process and analyze large data sets to identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency, customer acquisition, cross-selling, upselling, retention, and maximizing customer value.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, agency, partnership, and finance, to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support various business initiatives and projects.
Act as the primary point of contact between the global data team, market stakeholders, and the market IT team for data ingestion and data quality initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, data science, or a similar role; experience in the life insurance industry is a plus.
Proven experience in data engineering or data platform engineering.
Strong understanding of data pipelines, data wrangling, data transformation, and ETL processes.
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL and Python.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders.
Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
