Supply Chain Planning Placement
As a Supply Planning Intern, you will be an integral part of our Supply Planning team, working closely with the Supply Planning Development Manager. You will engage in a variety of tasks and projects that support the day-to-day operations of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and broader supply chain initiatives. This role offers a chance to apply your analytical skills and business acumen to real-world scenarios and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Slow Moving and Remnant File.
- Produce and analyze US Reports and other weekly/monthly reports.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of an MRP Controller, including:
- Ordering stock based on forecasts
- Managing inventory levels
- Communicating with stakeholders across the organization
- Participating in new product releases
- Collaborate with teams in the UK and France to ensure seamless operations.
- Contribute to presentations and support the broader Supply Chain teams.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong analytical and business skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as XLOOKUP, INDEX, and MATCH.
- Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous.
Education & Experience:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
- Strong academic performance and a keen interest in pursuing a career in Supply Chain Management.
- Open-minded and eager to explore various areas within the Supply Chain domain.
