Position Overview

As a UX/UI Specialist, you will take on a consultative role within a large, complex client organization. Your primary focus will be on shaping how clients think about their products and customers, navigating a multi-layered stakeholder environment, and delivering high-quality user experiences. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, acting as both an advisor and a practitioner.

Key Responsibilities: About the Role

• Trusted Advisory: Act as a consultative partner to the client, influencing product and experience decisions at both strategic and executive levels.
• Navigating Complexity: Operate confidently within a large, multi-stakeholder client environment, aligning conflicting priorities and building consensus across teams.
• Discovery & Research: Lead interviews, workshops, and discovery activities to uncover user needs, behaviors, and business context.
• Journey Mapping: Map current-state customer journeys and design future-state journeys, identifying pain points and opportunities.
• Opportunity Identification: Translate research findings into concrete business opportunities aligned with the client's strategic goals.
• High-Fidelity Prototyping: Develop polished, high-fidelity UI prototypes ready for executive-level validation and usability testing.
• Executive Presentation: Present insights, journeys, and prototypes clearly and authoritatively to product managers and C-level executives.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in UX/UI design, leading discovery on complex, high-stakes engagements.
• Proven ability to operate as a consultant or trusted advisor in large, matrixed organizations.
• Strong experience conducting qualitative research with users and stakeholders.
• Expertise in mapping customer journeys for large-scale, multi-touchpoint ecosystems.
• Ability to identify and articulate business opportunities from research insights.
• Advanced prototyping skills using tools like Figma, tailored for executive audiences.
• Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, with fluency in English.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Must-Have Skills:
  • Proficiency in UX/UI design principles and methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in prototyping and design tools (e.g., Figma).
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate research into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

• Experience facilitating executive workshops and steering committees.
• Familiarity with design systems at scale.
• Experience in highly regulated environments or the healthcare industry.
