Cisco Systems is an American networking company founded in 1984 by Stanford computer scientists Leonard Bosack and Sandy Lerner, and headquartered in San Jose, California. It is the largest supplier of enterprise networking equipment in the world, building the routers, switches, wireless access points and optical systems that carry traffic across corporate networks, service providers and data centres, together with the software and silicon that run them. The company has diversified heavily into security, observability through Splunk, collaboration with Webex, and AI infrastructure networking, and now earns a growing share of revenue from software subscriptions rather than hardware sales.

Meet the Team

The Regulatory Affairs & Compliance team within Cisco’s Legal department is comprised of lawyers, program managers, operational specialists, and subject matter experts focused on topics including compliance and ethics (anti-bribery and anti-corruption), global trade, cybersecurity, telecom, environmental sustainability, and various other regulatory practice areas and programs. We partner with colleagues in Legal and functional teams across the company to drive compliance and impact.

Cisco Legal is seeking an experienced, innovative Senior Manager, Compliance Learning & Communications to lead the design, execution, and global scaling of Cisco's enterprise-wide compliance curriculum and culture initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Compliance Learning & Communications, this role drives mandatory global training programs-including the Code of Business Conduct (COBC), Public Sector COBC, and Sales Compliance-while leveraging AI, and interactive platforms to modernize compliance learning and awareness globally.

Your Impact

  • You will lead the end-to-end development, rollout, and lifecycle management of Cisco's global compliance learning portfolio (COBC, Partner/Supplier Codes, Public Sector Ethics, and Anti-Corruption/Sales Compliance).
  • The ideal candidate will have experience deploying AI-enabled learning tools, simulation workflows, and micro-learnings (integrating with Skills Studio, video platforms, and localized learning pathways) to drive engagement and retention.
  • You will proactively develop targeted compliance toolkits, global compliance and market-specific campaigns to reinforce trust and accountability culture.
  • You are a strong collaborator who will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure training and communications addresses emerging regulatory and compliance risks; and enable actionable metrics and completion tracking and post-training efficacy measurements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Organizational Development, Business, or related field
  • 8-12+ years of relevant experience in similar roles responsible for design, creation and deployment of corporate compliance and ethics learning and communications within a global enterprise compliance program.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills; ability to distill complex legal and regulatory concepts into engaging, clear guidance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-stakeholder programs within tight deadlines, and global localization requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven success modernizing instructional design methodologies, multimedia production, LMS architecture, and AI-assisted content development.
  • Master’s degree or relevant compliance certifications preferred.
