Summary
We are looking for an experienced QA tester to join our team and help us design, build, and support a new website platform for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring high quality software delivery of CMS powered, web applications & APIs with enterprise-level organizations. We would also love it if you are passionate about problem solving with fantastic attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Design and develop test plans for the project requirements & scope including device & browser matrix
Design and orchestrate agentic workflows for testing: breaking a quality objective into steps an agent can execute, giving it the right context and tools, and validating what comes back.
Perform manual and automated testing as required
Setting up & writing test suites to automate functional, non-functional, integration, regression & end to end testing for the developed web applications & APIs
Analyze test results, identify and report defects
Review product and technical specifications to ensure they are unambiguous and testable
Work with developers to fix defects
Work closely with colleagues and client teams in the UK and Brazil
You will take part in peer review of team deliverables, attend and take part in agile ceremonies, and demonstrate delivery of your work to client stakeholders at the end of each sprint
Stay up-to-date on the latest testing methodologies and tools
Advising & implementing web accessibility best practices
We are looking for someone that has:
Solid experience in testing CMS based web applications including functional, non-functional and usability testing
Prior experience in leading & defining the QA strategy and scoping
Experience writing test plans based on user story scenarios and non-functional requirements
Hands-on use of AI tools in real delivery work, including AI coding assistants, LLM based test generation, or AI supported analysis
Experience querying & testing RESTful type APIs
At home with UI & API testing automation (e.g. Selenium, Postman, etc…)
Deep BDD knowledge and experience in writing scenarios using the Gherkin syntax and frameworks like Specflow or Cucumber
Have a real passion for finding software bugs
Experience with accessibility testing and knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and communicate test results effectively
Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software products
Practical knowledge of cross-platform, cross-browser development and website testing techniques
Working knowledge of continuous delivery and continuous integration to deliver software incrementally and in an agile way (git, gitFlow, CI/CD pipelines, etc…)
Working within a project management/agile delivery methodology as part of a wider team
Fluent in English
Here are some other skills and experience that would be considered a plus for this role:
Experience with the Headless CMSs such as Storyblok and Sanity
Experience with agentic SDLC or spec-driven development practices, where specifications and agents drive part of the implementation.
Familiarity with agent tooling and integration patterns (MCP servers, tool calling, multi-agent orchestration).
Experience building evaluation approaches for AI-generated artifacts
Testing of AI-powered products themselves: non-deterministic behavior, hallucination risk, model regressions.
Experience with security and compliance best practices
Familiarity with web analytics tools
Experience writing performance & benchmarking scripts
Exposure to semantic HTML & SEO testing
