BANAMEX Analista de Riesgos Socioambientales - ASG

The Community Dev Intmd Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the development of content and training strategies that allow the continuous updating and consolidation of the educational offer through the promotion of the financial and economic culture between the different segments of the population.
• Coordinate the design and implementation of the educational strategies of the area for the promotion of the financial and economic culture.
• Coordinate the detection of needs, the design and implementation, as well as the social and educational approach to update and innovate the educational offer, according to the different segments of the population.
• Design and actuate the strategies and methodologies of classroom training, direct and in cascade to ensure the development of financial and economic skills in children, young people and adults, business people, entrepreneurs and organizations of civil society, in favor of their welfare.
• Design and/or validation of the content for materials, training and channels of knowledge offers to contribute to personal welfare, family and community.
• Design and consolidate models of intervention toward: children, young people, adults, entrepreneurs and business, collaborators and clients
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

• Min 2-5 years of relevant experience

• Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

Objetivo del puesto

Contribuir a la implementación de la estrategia de sostenibilidad de la institución mediante el análisis, monitoreo y reporte de los riesgos ambientales, sociales y climáticos asociados a clientes, operaciones y portafolios, apoyando la incorporación de estos factores en la toma de decisiones, el cumplimiento de la normativa interna y la adopción de mejores prácticas en materia de sostenibilidad y gestión climática.}

Principales responsabilidades

Gestión de riesgos ambientales, sociales y climáticos

• Ejecutar evaluaciones de riesgos ambientales, sociales y climáticos de clientes y operaciones conforme a las metodologías establecidas por la institución.

• Analizar la exposición de clientes, sectores y portafolios a riesgos climáticos físicos y de transición.

• Aplicar herramientas de evaluación, scorecards y metodologías de clasificación de riesgos climáticos.

• Identificar riesgos y oportunidades relacionados con factores ambientales, sociales y climáticos que puedan impactar el perfil de riesgo o la estrategia de negocio.

• Monitorear periódicamente los resultados de los scores climáticos y otros indicadores ASG de los clientes.

• Identificar variaciones relevantes en los perfiles de riesgo climático y generar alertas cuando corresponda.

• Analizar tendencias sectoriales, regulatorias y de mercado relacionadas con riesgos climáticos y sostenibilidad.

• Mantener actualizadas las bases de datos e indicadores utilizados para la gestión de riesgos climáticos.

• Elaborar reportes periódicos para comités, órganos de gobierno y áreas de negocio y riesgos.

• Consolidar información para atender requerimientos regulatorios, auditorías y revisiones internas.

• Apoyar la generación de métricas e indicadores relacionados con la gestión de riesgos climáticos.

• Participar en la elaboración de materiales ejecutivos para la Alta Dirección.

• Apoyar el diseño, implementación y actualización de metodologías, procedimientos y herramientas de evaluación de riesgos climáticos.

• Participar en la definición y calibración de scores climáticos, indicadores y variables proxy.

• Colaborar con las áreas de Riesgos, Crédito, Negocio y Datos para fortalecer la incorporación de factores climáticos en los procesos institucionales.

Requisitos:

• Escolaridad: Licenciatura en Actuaría,

  Economía,

  Finanzas,,

  Ingeniería Ambiental,

  Ingeniería Industrial, Ciencias Ambientales, Administración, Relaciones Internacionales, carreras afines. (Necesario concluida).

• Deseable: especialización o diplomado en sostenibilidad, cambio climático, gestión de riesgos o finanzas sostenibles.

• Experiencia 2 a 4 años de experiencia en alguna de las siguientes áreas: Sostenibilidad corporativa, Riesgos ASG, Riesgos climáticos, Finanzas sostenibles,Riesgo de crédito,Consultoría de sostenibilidad.

• Conocimientos requeridos : Cambio climático y sostenibilidad, Riesgos físicos y de transición, Riesgos ambientales y sociales. Principios de análisis financiero y crédito,Interpretación de información corporativa y sectorial.

• Manejo de :Excel avanzado, Power BI (deseable) y análisis de bases de datos.

• Inglés intermedio alto.
