Role Overview:
The Custody Digital Onboarding Senior Analyst is a strategic position responsible for executing workflow orchestration projects and driving digital onboarding initiatives within the Custody product function. This role focuses on the hands-on digitization of the client onboarding experience, mapping end-to-end workflows, and integrating internal applications and industry utilities.
The primary objective is to deliver a simplified, efficient client experience by reducing account opening cycle times, streamlining market documentation requirements, and improving operational efficiency. The individual will work closely with technology, operations, legal, risk, and business partners to implement product enhancements, workflow solutions, and practical AI-driven process improvements, serving as an execution champion within the custody ecosystem.
What you'll be doing:
Process Mapping & Design: Map end-to-end client onboarding workflows, identifying bottlenecks, redundancies, and areas for automation.
Orchestration Implementation: Lead the execution of specific workflow orchestration projects to digitize and streamline the custody client onboarding journey.
Integration Coordination: Coordinate the integration of digital onboarding intake channels with core custody platforms, internal applications, and industry utilities.
AI & Automation Integration: Identify practical opportunities to apply automation and AI/ML technologies-such as Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and Natural Language Processing (NLP)-to streamline manual document reviews and data extraction.
Product Enhancements: Define, scope, and deliver product enhancements and features based on operational feedback, client needs, and market requirements.
Requirements Definition: Gather and translate business needs into clear, detailed Agile requirements (Epics and User Stories) within project management tools such as Jira
UAT & Release Management: Partner with Technology to scope product releases, participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning/execution, and validate that delivered solutions meet business criteria.
Roadmap Support: Support the delivery of the strategic digital onboarding program roadmap with a strong commercial lens-tracking progress, managing dependencies, and resolving execution-level obstacles to drive operational cost-efficiencies and support P&L growth
Cross-Functional Partnership: Work in close coordination with Technology, Operations, Coverage/Sales, Legal, and Risk partners to ensure seamless delivery of workflow solutions.
User Community Engagement: Serve as a product champion and point of contact for the internal user community, gathering feedback and driving adoption of new digital onboarding tools.
Alignment: Align stakeholders on project requirements and delivery timelines.
Controls Testing & Documentation: Focus on controls and governance.
Risk Assessment: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made.
Strategic Product Vision & P&L Ownership: Define and lead the strategic vision for custody products, aggressively integrating digital, data, and innovation to drive P&L growth, market penetration, and sustainable competitive advantage.
What we'll need from you:
Experience: Demonstrated experience in workflow orchestration, business analysis, digital transformation, or client onboarding process improvement, with the ability to translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
Analytical Thinking: Intellectual curiosity, analytical and conceptual thinker.
Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of custody operations, client onboarding processes, or securities market documentation.
Product Lifecycle: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Workflow Orchestration: Practical experience with workflow automation concepts.
Data & Analytics: Strong analytical skills with the ability to filter, prioritize, and validate complex data from multiple sources to drive process improvements.
Execution Focus: A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed, global organization.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
