Java Applications Development - Assistant Vice President

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for leading development projects, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our software development processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable Java applications.
• Lead the development of new features and enhancements, from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
• Contribute to the improvement of our software development processes and best practices.
• Use AI based tools to improve the developer productivity and code quality

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java Version 21 or above, with a deep understanding of its core concepts and principles.
• Extensive experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
• Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Experience with No SQL databases (e.g., Mongo DB).
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
