Senior Analyst, Client Engagement, Client Delivery - Mumbai
The Client Organization is a global division within Citi that serves as the central hub for client-facing strategy, relationship management, and service delivery across the firm's institutional and corporate client base. The organization encompasses multiple specialized pillars, each focused on distinct aspects of the client lifecycle - from coverage and advisory to marketing, research, credit management, and change delivery.
About (Client Delivery: Client Engagement)
Client Delivery is a key pillar within the Client Organization, responsible for coordinating and delivering client practices. The team operates at the intersection of client relationship management, technology, analytics, and operational execution. It provides consistent client metrics, segmentation, and insights across businesses and regions and is responsible for the implementation of cross-divisional client metrics including revenue, profitability, and market share, as well as client segmentation based on client activity and future opportunity.
Acting as a strategic intermediary between various senior groups across Citi, the Client Delivery team works closely on high-impact projects with the Executive Management Team (EMT), Chiefs of Staff, Executive Assistants, and the broader Client Organization.
The Client Engagement team leads Citi’s executive client engagement strategy and infrastructure, including the framework, processes and tools to enable the Citi CEO and broader EMT to engage the firm’s most important clients globally.
Role Outline/Job Summary
Support Senior Client Engagement efforts for the CEO, EMT, and Global Chairs; develop new ideas and methods to elevate senior presence in ways that benefit Citi as a whole
Drive client prioritization efforts for senior leadership ahead of high-profile strategic events such as Davos, Milken, IMF Annual Meetings, and similar global forums - ensuring targeted engagement with the right clients to maximize impact and relationship outcomes
Calculate and determine the return on investment (ROI) of strategic events, analyzing client engagement outcomes, opportunity flow, and revenue attribution to assess effectiveness and inform future participation strategies
Provide reports for various Citi-wide initiatives, reviewing senior performance using Revenue, Wallet, Capital, and Returns metrics
Create and distribute bi-weekly Senior Client Engagement dashboards, daily executive movement alerts, monthly client deal activity summaries, and similar client-related materials to the Executive Management Team, Global Chairs, and Senior Coverage Team
Lead the development, integration, and maintenance of the Briefing Memo tool on Citi Client Central - a critical application designed to equip the Executive Management Team and senior leaders with comprehensive, data-driven client profiles ahead of key meetings and engagements. Ensure the tool delivers timely and accurate insights covering revenue performance, deal activity, and strategic opportunities to enable informed and impactful client interactions
Respond to ad-hoc analytical needs of Senior Management
Leverage AI and emerging technology capabilities like Citi Workspaces and Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity, streamline reporting workflows, and generate data-driven insights, driving efficiency and innovation across the team's deliverables
Skills:
- 6 to 8 years of experience in a client analytics, strategic reporting, or executive advisory role, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Capability to analyze large sets of data, interpret analytic results and suggest actionable next steps within a predetermined framework
Exceptional communication skills including face-to-face, verbal and written; temperament to engage senior management and leadership on analytics
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Query and PowerPoint with the ability to create “board-ready” documents; some experience with SQL, Python, Tableau and/or Business Objects is preferred
Familiarity with AI-powered tools such as Citi Workspaces and Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity, automate workflows, and generate data-driven insights
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to act as a team player; ability to foster relationships with individuals across the globe and with different points of view
Excellent organizational skills and diligence with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deliver results under pressure
Knowledge of Citi’s client activity databases and competitor wallet is a distinct advantage
aster's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
