Senior Java Solutions Architect- Vice President

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to design and lead enterprise-grade technology solutions across application, data, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on technical expertise with architectural vision-building scalable, secure, and intelligent systems using Java, Spring Boot, IBM BAM, Angular, Oracle, Snowflake and AI frameworks.

AdditionalKey Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end, cloud-native solutions leveraging Java Spring Boot, Angular
• Architect and integrate high-performance data pipelines across Oracle, Snowflake and associated ecosystems.
• Lead microservices and API architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and governance across development teams.
• Drive DevOps automation with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Enforce enterprise security, performance, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business needs with technical strategy.
• Manage all technology standards across functional area, ensuring development, understanding and adherence around the globe.
• Provide an environment where Subject Matter Experts can work efficiently and delivery effectively.
• Manage execution of IT strategy and roadmap for assigned technology area.
• Apply an in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within engineering and basic knowledge of those elements in other areas.
• Responsible for training and coaching team members, performance management activities, monitoring quantity and quality of work, and addressing development needs for assigned personnel.

Qualifications: -

• 12+ years of strong experience in Application Development or systems analysis role.
• Strong Experience on Architecting Enterprise highly scalable applications
• Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications. Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Proven engineering experience building robust, scalable, and maintainable applications in the Finance Technology industry.
• Build, deploy, and test application components in a development environment during the implementation phase working with all layers of the application stack.
• Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks.
• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication. Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices.

Required Skills

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Caching, Microservices, Python.
• Frontend: Angular/React, REST API design.
• Data & Analytics: Oracle, MongoDB, SQL/NoSQL
• Cloud: ECS, Open Shift
• AI/ML: Experience with AI Development tools like Co-Pilot, Claude, Devin AI
• DevOps: CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Security & Performance: OAuth2, JWT, encryption, and system optimization.
• Experience: 10+ years in software engineering and architecture with full-stack and data expertise.

Other

• Distributed systems understanding
• DevOps exposure (nice to have)
• Strong hands-on coding capability (not just oversight)

Should be able to:

• Independently design modules
• Own end-to-end delivery
• Troubleshoot production issues

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical/problem-solving ability
• Ability to work in global teams (NAM / APAC / EMEA)
• Clear communication for business + tech alignment

Nice to have:-

• Experience on Observability and monitoring tech stack as well.
• Understanding of Gen AI based Productivity tool like Microsoft Co-Pilot, Devin etc.
