FULLSTACK NODE DEVELOPER

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our technology team and contribute to the development, enhancement, and modernization of web applications.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Node.js and React, enjoys working across both frontend and backend, and is comfortable contributing to existing applications as well as building new features from the ground up.

Experience working on application modernization, UI refreshes, refactoring, or migrating legacy applications to modern technologies will be considered a major plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality web applications using Node.js and React.
• Build and integrate frontend and backend features, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services when required.
• Contribute to the modernization and evolution of existing applications.
• Refactor legacy code and implement improvements to application architecture, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural and development decisions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the application stack.
• Follow software development best practices, including version control, testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt modern development practices and technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Strong experience with Node.js and backend development.
• Strong experience with React and modern frontend development.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Understanding of frontend architecture, responsive design, and modern UI development.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.

Nice to Have

• Experience modernizing, refreshing, or migrating existing applications.
• Experience with legacy application refactoring and modernization initiatives.
• Experience improving existing UI/UX and implementing modern design systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling and frameworks.
• Experience working with applications undergoing significant technological transformation.
