We are looking for a Working Student - Customer Experience & Digital Operations (m/f/d) to support our team in assisting visitors and exhibitors while helping to develop our digital service processes.

You will respond to enquiries, improve our AI chatbot and knowledge base, and help make customer support more efficient and user-friendly - from the first ticket purchase to the event itself.

Your mission

• Customer Support & Visitor Services: Assist trade visitors and exhibitors via email and phone with enquiries about tickets, invoices, the event app and visas. Categorise incoming enquiries and forward Sales and Press requests to the relevant teams.
• Digital Services & AI: Create response templates and knowledge base articles, improve our AI chatbot and help reduce repetitive enquiries through automation and digital self-service solutions.
• Systems & Data Management: Support data maintenance in our exhibitor portal and CRM, helping to continuously improve data quality and digital processes.
• On-site Support: Support our team on-site during event setup and throughout IFA.

Your profile

You are currently enrolled as a student, enjoy communicating with people and have an interest in digital technologies. You work in a structured, service-oriented way and stay organised, even when handling multiple enquiries.

Ideally, you also bring:

• Studies in Business, Communications, Event or Tourism Management, or a related field

• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in communicating with customers via email and phone

• Excellent German and English skills; additional languages are a plus

• Confidence in using digital tools and an interest in AI and automation

• A reliable, independent and solution-oriented approach

• Availability during event setup and throughout IFA, from late August to early September
