What you will do

This position is responsible for delivering system solutions under the Finance IT umbrella. They include systems for the following departments within Clarios LLC organization (Ex: Accounts Payable, Finance, Legal, Tax and Treasury). This position requires analytical skills to enhance business processes utilizing applications in the existing landscape or by implementing new solutions.

Additional responsibilities include providing Level 3 assistance for problem resolution with existing applications, training end-users and Application Support Teams on new functionality, and providing written documentation. The position requires a strong self-starter who is able to learn and absorb information quickly while also managing multiple competing priorities on a daily basis. Strong communication and administrative skills are a must.

How you will do it

Project Management:

• Ensure adherence to Company standards and methodologies.
• Document, Analyze and provide solutions to issues that surface.
• Work with the business and IT teams to develop business cases for development effort.
• Work with project manager(s) to prepare project management deliverables including Statements of Work, Status reports, Budgets, Staffing plans, and Phase Gate Deliverables.
• Conduct meetings and present status.
• Work closely and manage development work of internal development teams, vendors, and third party development teams to deliver solutions.
• Ensure effective communication through written and verbal methods.

Portfolio Management Responsibilities:

• Work with the designated individuals (business relationship managers, business team members, others) to discuss needs with customers in a nontechnical language;
• Analyze customer requests, understand need, and document in Functional Specification;
• Prepare documentation using MS-Word, MS-Excel, and flowcharting tools;
• Translate user requirements into System Design Specifications;
• Develop estimates and budgets for system development;
• Develop programs to comply with system requirements;
• Oversee a team of developers;
• Validate programming results and review with users for acceptance;
• Prepare other documentation as required by Clarios’s methodology;
• Work with off-shore development team to deliver applications;
• Coach and develop fellow colleagues;
• Communicate effectively in both written and oral format;
• Ensure customer acceptance by testing validation, and training users in changes to business processes

What we look for

• University degree in Business, MIS, or comparable field
• 5-10 years work experience in IT - Finance applications preferred
• 5-10 years of experience in similar position.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate software packages
• In depth understanding of Corporate Finance processes such as Corporate Finance Close processes, Manual Journal Entry processes, Account Reconciliation processes, Finance compliance requirements
• Preferred experience in one of the following: OneStream, Blackline, Aptitude Lease Accounting, Workiva, Treasury
• In depth understanding of Corporate Treasury processes such as Payment processing, Bank Statement processing , FX Rate processing
• Preferred experience in one of the following: FIS Global - Trax, FIS Global - Integrity, Bloomberg

The starting salary is at min 3 400 EUR/month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria.
