Customer Success Engineer

The core responsibilities for the job include the following:

Deployment and onboarding:

• Support deployment of the platform for enterprise customers, working alongside senior engineers on complex go-lives.
• Configure integrations, workflows, and environment-specific setups, and assist with post-deployment stabilization.

Customer interaction and requirement gathering:

• Act as a day-to-day technical point of contact for assigned customers.
• Understand customer business flows, data needs, and system constraints, and translate them into Clear technical inputs for product and engineering.

Production support (L1 and L2):

• Handle L1 and L2 production support for customer-reported issues, escalating to engineering with well-documented analysis.
• Debug data, integration, performance, and infrastructure issues, and support incident response.

Data, integrations, and documentation:

• Troubleshoot ETL pipelines and data workflows across APIs, databases, and file-based integrations, supporting ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation of customer data.
• Create deployment guides, runbooks, and internal documentation, and share customer feedback, gaps, and edge cases with product teams.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years in customer-facing technical roles: technical support (L1/L2), deployment, implementation, or solutions engineering.
• Working knowledge of Java (Spring Boot) or Python and of PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of ETL pipelines and data workflows; proficiency with SQL, APIs, and monitoring and logging tools.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with cloud networking fundamentals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Preferred / General Requirements:

• Experience with SaaS, fintech, or enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP) or finance and accounting workflows, or to a startup/high-growth environment.
