Forward Deployed Engineer
About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll own technical delivery end-to-end - from initial discovery with private-market operations teams through to production launch of AI-driven fund accounting workflows. You'll sit at the intersection of engineering and customer success, turning real client processes into live platform deployments while feeding what you learn directly back into core product development.
What You'll Do
Manage the full technical project lifecycle, from discovery and scoping through to production release.
Work directly with customer teams to map existing workflows and identify adoption barriers.
Convert customer processes into AI-driven, automated workflows on the platform.
Build customer-tailored prototypes and iterate quickly based on feedback and evolving scope.
Translate deployment insights into actionable input for the core product roadmap.
Develop reusable components and standardised approaches from recurring implementation patterns.
What We're Looking For
1-6 years of production software engineering experience, shipping real systems end-to-end.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js, with hands-on experience with NestJS, Postgres/Prisma, and React.
Comfortable working directly with customers to scope, prototype, and iterate on technical deliverables - prior forward-deployed or solutions engineering experience is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a small, high-caliber founding team environment where ownership and ambiguity go hand in hand.
Familiarity with financial services, private markets, or fund operations is a bonus but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: €70,000 - €110,000 per year
