About the Role
This is a Founding BDR role at a fast-growing, early-stage AI recruiting startup - a rare SDR-to-AE track opportunity where you'll build the outbound engine from the ground up and graduate into closing deals as you prove yourself. As one of the earliest business hires on a ~10-person team, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders every day to shape the sales motion and drive mid-market and enterprise pipeline.
What You'll Do
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead qualification and outbound outreach campaigns.
Qualify prospects using a consultative selling approach.
Grow top of funnel through warm and cold outbound strategies.
Test and iterate on experimental marketing and go-to-market motions.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records on client relationships and pipeline activity.
Build toward a closing Account Executive role as the sales org scales.
What We're Looking For
1-5 years of experience as a top-performing SDR, BDR, or AE at a high-velocity startup or in finance.
Demonstrated track record of beating quota, rapid promotion, or consistently top sales performance.
Proven cold outbound success - you've gotten yourself into at least one significant opportunity through sheer hustle and creativity.
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, founding-stage, on-site environment.
Evidence of an exceptional achievement outside the day job - founding a company, winning a major competition, or equivalent.
High creative thinking and "clockspeed" - you implement process improvements and generate new growth ideas quickly.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $110,000 - $140,000 USD annually
Commission on top of base
Equity with early-stage upside (pre-Series A)
