Job Title: Senior Oracle Security and AI Engineer

About the Role

This Senior Oracle Security and AI Engineer is primarily responsible for the Oracle Fusion security architecture, role design governance, oversight of the Risk Management Cloud service and AI initiatives. The Engineer serves as a hands-on expert for the technical administration, environment management, and platform integrity of the Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud environment, operating as a technical owner for Oracle Fusion Applications, Security, and the underlying Cloud and AI Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Environment Management & Maintenance: Own the technical management of all Fusion environments, including executing scheduled environment refreshes, cloning instances, managing environment usage, and ensuring system configuration baselines.
• Cloud Update Execution: Participate in the technical preparation and execution of Oracle’s mandatory quarterly cloud updates, including performing pre-update checks and technical smoke testing post-update.
• Platform Stability & Governance: Own the non-functional requirements for the Oracle Cloud environment, including security architecture, role design governance, and performance benchmarking. Enforce technical configuration control standards.
• Security Administration: Provide security administration and support for all Oracle Fusion Applications, PaaS and DBaaS platforms. Design, build, and deploy custom security roles for Oracle Fusion Applications, ensuring strict adherence to the principle of least privilege and Segregation of Duties and Sensitive Access compliance frameworks.
• Risk Management Cloud: Serve as the technical owner of the Oracle Fusion Risk Management Cloud service. Configure, deploy, and maintain Advanced Access Controls - AAC and Advanced Financial Controls - AFC to detect and mitigate financial risks, fraud, and policy violations, translating audit requirements into effective platform controls.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Level 2/3 technical support for environment-related issues, access problems, and deployment failures. Serve as an escalation point to conduct root cause analysis for platform-level incidents.
• AI & Automation Innovation: Evaluate, design, and deploy AI-driven tools, Model Context Protocol implementations/maintenance, Terraform-based automation scripts, and security artifacts to enhance platform security operations, streamline threat monitoring, and optimize governance workflows across the Oracle Cloud ecosystem.

Role Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• 8+ years focusing on the technical administration/support within Oracle eco system
• 4+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying custom security roles within the Oracle Fusion Applications environment.
• Expert-level knowledge of managing Oracle Fusion Cloud environments(ERP, GTM and EPM), including environment refresh and cloning processes.
• Deep technical familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure administration and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of security architecture, Oracle Fusion Risk Management Cloud, role design governance, and performance management within a cloud ERP.
• Strong understanding of various MCP and Agentic capabilities with Oracle Fusion (ERP, EPM, GTM), AI Database, Oracle Integration Cloud, and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in an organization transitioning to Oracle Cloud Ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with various OCI PaaS Toolsets.
• Exposure to the Data Center Infrastructure industry
• Relevant professional product/functional certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Security certifications)
• Skilled in administering DevOps tools like Flexagon FlexDeploy and using Opal IGA tool
• Experience in Cloudflare’s Developer platform or equivalent(e.g., AWS)
