Business analyst

Responsibilities:

• Understand and translate business and customer requirements into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Act as a consultant to stakeholders by understanding their needs and pain points, identifying gaps, and recommending practical solutions.
• Conduct detailed business, system, and gap analysis to identify problems, opportunities, feasibility, and potential solutions.
• Prepare functional artifacts including PRDs, epics, business process flows, and requirement documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define, refine, and prioritize the product roadmap based on business value and customer impact.
• Evaluate and recommend AI-driven solutions to improve product capabilities, business processes, and customer experience.
• Collaborate closely with UX/Design, Engineering, QA, and Data teams to validate requirements, assess feasibility, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Engage with customers, particularly Engineering, DevOps, and FinOps teams, to gather feedback, identify pain points, improve adoption and satisfaction, and validate product direction.
• Track and report key business/product metrics from inception through closure, using insights to identify areas for improvement.
• Support Agile planning, release cycles, sprint delivery, UAT, documentation, training, and enablement for internal teams and external customers.
• Drive product roadmap planning by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize features, define business requirements, and align product initiatives with strategic goals.
• Leverage AI tools and methodologies to enhance requirement gathering, documentation, user story creation, and identify AI-driven opportunities to improve product capabilities and user experience.

Must-Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field (Master’s preferred).
•  Preferably in cloud infrastructure, FinOps, cloud cost optimisation, or dev tools.
• Strong understanding of AWS or other public-cloud: you should know at least the major compute / storage / services / networking footprint and usage patterns. 
• Proven ability to translate customer needs into product features, write product requirements (PRDs), and work with engineering teams on execution.
• Proficiency with product management, collaboration, and analytics tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Figma, Productboard, BI dashboards, PostHog)
