About the Role

A Senior Salesforce Developer at CloudMasonry is a technical consulting role ideal for individuals with extensive experience in developing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform, along with the proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. The candidate should be comfortable discovering innovative technology solutions to efficiently meet client needs. Being a self-motivated learner of new technologies or related skills is essential. Previous hands-on Salesforce experience is required, and existing Salesforce technical certifications are necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Consulting Project Team to accomplish project goals and achieve client success.

  • Conduct technical process reviews, lead technical UATs and advise clients on technical solutions and best practices.

  • Translate client business requirements to design, document, and develop technical solutions leveraging Salesforce declarative and custom development solutions and related technologies.

  • Build system integrations based on instructions from a Technical Architect using available ETL and iPaaS solutions.

  • Gather data migration requirements, define a data migration plan, and perform complex data migrations, including large data volumes.

  • Contribute to internal code reviews and ensure custom development follows Salesforce Best Practices.

  • Provide coaching and mentorship to other team members.

  • Achieve necessary technical certifications for the Senior Developer role.

  • This role may require 25-50% travel time, depending on project needs. Therefore, we're seeking candidates who are open to and able to accommodate this level of travel.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development, including 2+ years in a consulting environment or comparable experience working with business stakeholders or end users

  • Deep experience with Apex, LWC, and Flow, and good judgment about when to use configuration and when to write code

  • Strong understanding of platform limits and performance, including governor limits, asynchronous processing (Batch, Queueable, Platform Events), and large data volumes

  • A strong foundation in object-oriented programming and common design patterns (Apex, Java, Python, or similar), plus working knowledge of relational databases and SQL

  • Experience with REST and SOAP APIs and common integration patterns; familiarity with ETL or iPaaS tools such as MuleSoft or Informatica

  • Hands-on experience with Git, Salesforce DX, CI/CD, and automated testing

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams
  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Familiarity with CRM, ERP, and other common business applications

  • Experience maintaining legacy Visualforce and Aura code is a plus
