We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Recruiter with 6+ years of experience to join TEC Group’s Engineering recruiting team, supporting automotive OEMs, Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers, and adjacent industries across multiple geographic markets in the U.S.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in U.S. engineering recruitment, with direct experience supporting OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or adjacent industries. Experience recruiting for engineering, design, supply chain, technical, and executive-level roles is highly preferred. You’ll partner closely with our Sales, Account Development, and Recruiting teams to source and engage talent for client-specific contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, qualifying candidates, negotiating offers, and coordinating successful starts.
Recruit engineering, design, supply chain, technical, and executive-level professionals for Fortune 1000 and OEM clients.
Develop targeted sourcing strategies to identify local talent across multiple geographic markets.
Build candidate pipelines through recruiting tools, job boards, referrals, networking, and AI-assisted sourcing tools.
Develop relationships with active and passive candidates, providing clear communication throughout the hiring process.
Partner with Sales, Account Development, and Recruiting leadership to understand client requirements, prioritize searches, and present qualified candidates.
Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in TEC Group’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Stay connected with consultants throughout their assignments to support engagement and retention.
Stay informed about client needs, industry trends, and talent availability.
Meet established recruiting goals and KPIs while maintaining quality and responsiveness.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Six or more years of engineering recruitment experience, with a strong background in U.S. recruitment.
Direct experience recruiting for U.S. automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or adjacent industries is required. General corporate recruiting experience alone does not meet this requirement.
Proven success recruiting for engineering and professional positions, including engineering, design, supply chain, and executive-level roles.
Experience supporting clients within automation, energy, and/or advanced manufacturing is a plus.
Strong ability to source and engage candidates for client-specific openings across multiple geographic markets.
Experience filling contract, contract-to-hire, and/or direct placement positions.
Strong sourcing, candidate engagement, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency with job boards, ATS platforms, and other sourcing tools.
