About the role:
The Internal Audit is looking for an Associate/Senior Associate that will be responsible forsupporting control testing and issue validation for audits related to the company and its associated entities.
What you’lldo day to day:
Perform audit tests of controls by obtaining and analyzing audit evidence and data, preparing audit work papersand evaluating test results.
Participate in meetings to take detailed notes, understand, document, and map control tests to available backend data.
Draft control descriptions, test procedures, conduct sampling and perform testing
Document test results and exceptions and communicate results to IA Team leader, Leadership teams both internal and management
Assistwith issuesvalidation and reporting, including executive presentations.
Proactively interact with business teams to capture information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements using insights derived from data analysis
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in internal audit role
3+ years of experience in business process auditing with experience in issue validation and documentation
2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting using SQL, or Superset
Knowledge of financial services industry practices
Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Experience in end-to-end audit cycle management and independently operatein a fast-paced, dynamic environment while working on multiple projects/initiatives
