ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand Technical Documents such as datasheets, manuals, process diagrams, piping, and instrumentation diagrams to provide compliant design and drawings.
- Identify requirements and deliverables.
- Identify possible risks and gaps in scope of works while anticipating possible challenges.
- Develop and produce details in 3D models of internal products to Allied Pumps standards ensuring all models are compliant with the relevant standards (Australian Standards, Mine Regulations, Allied Pumps Engineering and Drafting procedure and Client’s Specifications)
- Produce high level General Agreement and Fabrication drawings of internal products that are compliant with relevant standards and that meet Client specifications.
- Be responsible for accurate modelling and delegating drafting duties to draftsperson in consultation with Engineering Manager to streamline project.
- Ensuring all documentation that is produced is accurate and presented neatly.

Qualifications
Experience and Knowledge:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience Autodesk Inventor
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to use initiative and prioritise effectively.
- Previous drafting experience in the production/manufacturing/construction/mining industry
- Ability to understand technical documentation such as datasheets, manuals, pump curves, process diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, electrical panel general arrangement.
- General knowledge / progressive experience in Mechanical designs and drafting.
- Previous experience in process diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams drafting.
- Significant knowledge or experience using Autodesk Inventor CAD environment.
Desirable Experience and Knowledge:
- Experience in Pump Control Systems, Dewatering Systems, Fire Pump Systems and Water Treatment system drafting.
- Revit / Navisworks / Plant 3D Software
- Previous experience using Bentley Software (MicroStation)
Software Knowledge Requirements:
- Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
- AutoDesk Suite
- MicroStation
