Position Overview

The US Healthcare Operations Manager is responsible for leading large-scale healthcare operations, overseeing multiple teams, driving operational performance, and ensuring delivery of client and business objectives. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across healthcare functions while maintaining compliance, service excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple healthcare operations teams, supervisors, and team leaders.
• Oversee end-to-end healthcare operations to ensure achievement of productivity, quality, and client performance targets.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with organizational and client objectives.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs, SLAs, quality metrics, staffing levels, and financial performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
• Manage workforce planning, capacity planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Partner with clients and senior stakeholders to address operational needs and business priorities.
• Lead issue resolution and escalation management for high-impact operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, regulatory requirements, and client-specific standards.
• Support budgeting, operational planning, and business growth initiatives.
• Lead talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, and performance management programs.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience in US healthcare operations.
• 3-5+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors, team leads, or large operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of US healthcare operations, including one or more of the following:
  • Claims Management
  • Prior Authorization
  • Eligibility & Benefits Verification
  • Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
  • Medical Billing and Coding
  • Provider Operations
  • Healthcare Administration
  • Population Health or Care Management Operations
• Experience managing large-scale operations, multiple workstreams, or client portfolios.
• Proven track record of driving KPI, SLA, quality, and financial performance.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in reporting, workforce management, and operational analytics tools.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and client-facing communication skills.

Preferred Background

• Experience managing large US healthcare operations teams within BPO, shared services, healthcare technology, payer, provider, or RCM organizations.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, HIPAA compliance, and operational governance.
• Experience with operational transformation, automation, process improvement, or scaling healthcare programs.
• Exposure to client management, business reviews, and executive reporting.
