Sprintax, part of Clune Tech, is a web-based tax return preparation software that provides a number of tax related services to non-residents in the United States. We help thousands of international visitors such as students, scholars, teachers, trainees, researchers, work and travel participants and other foreign individuals that are temporary in the United States each year with the preparation of their tax returns.
Sprintax are currently seeking an experienced professional and driven Accounts Assistant our Kilkenny based office. The role will provide support to the Financial Controller in a growing finance department.
This role requires 1x day per week in the Kilkenny HQ.
As Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for:
Accounts receivable management
Identifying delinquent accounts; communicating with customers regarding their outstanding balances and payment deadlines.
Ensuring new supplier set-up is in line with company policies.
Oversee and review monthly bank reconciliations.
Review of travel requests and management of travel requisition in line with the group travel expense policy.
Review of employee travel expense claim forms.
Ensuring the general ledger nominals are fully reconciled and reviewed monthly.
Assistance with preparation of annual audit files.
Assistance with general ad hoc duties and projects as they arise.
Qualifications/Skills we need:
Minimum of 3 years previous work experience in a similar accounts assistant role.
Excellent MS Excel skills are essential.
Strong level of IT Skills - SAP exposure is an advantage.
Organized and professional individual with ability to prioritise and work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to take ownership for your work and work independently as well as part of a team.
Will need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail together with strong analytical skills.
