JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for the development of the OutSystems platform to ensure quality and security
• Provide support and maintenance to the application systems and ensure all issues are proactively resolved;
• Adhere to, influence, and advocate internal software design & development standards, processes, and best practices such as but not limited to code re-use, portability, security, and documentation
• Master modern software engineering practices to design and develop innovative web and mobile business applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to define and design the application
• You are positively critical and constantly looking for ways to improve

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience and comfort with Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in web-based languages (JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML)
• Proficiency with at least one programming language (C# is preferable)
• Proficiency with web services (REST and SOAP),
• Have experience in SOAP, RESTful APIs, Microservices, JSON, XML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax;
• Understanding of full-stack development
• Proficiency with Database (MySQL and/or Oracle, SQL Server)

Nice to have:

• Proficiency with .NET Framework and/or C#
• Familiar with one of the following front-end frameworks/libraries: ReactJS, AngularJS
• Knowledge of mobile development
• Experience in developing/integrating software components into existing systems is a big plus
• Knowledge about the Finance domain or digitizing operational workstream

Experience:

• At least 2+ years of experience in building applications using OutSystems
• Middle/Senior level: Has at least 3-5 years of experience in developing high-availability, multi-tiered and secure web applications;

Soft-skills:

• Excellent English communication, being able to read and write English
• Good at investigating and solving incidents and problem skills
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• The ability to self-study, work under high pressure
• Being good at communication is an advantage
• You are positively critical and constantly looking for ways to improve
• Ability to learn new knowledge and skills if instructed
