.NET Software Engineer – Tech Lead

We are looking for a .NET Software Engineer - Tech Lead to oversee the development and support of internal business applications, whilementoring developers anddriving best practices across the software development lifecycle. The role focuses on building scalable backend solutions usingC# and .NET, designing andconsuming API s, working with databases and messaging systems, and contributing to modern software architecture in a collaborative environment.

You will be joining a fast-growingTravel & Transportation IT Services project, working with an established international group specializing in corporate, marine, and leisure travel management. Our partner has more than 38 years of industry experience and a global presence across three continents, providing tailored travel services and 24/7 support to hundreds of corporate and marine clients. The company combines deep expertise in travel operations with continuous investment in digital innovation, including a modern travel management platform that brings together travelers, coordinators, and travel advisors through a seamless digital experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain & support internal business applications in C#, .NET 10.
• Mentor other developers and help grow their skills.
• Adapt best practices in development, code versioning, testing, and deployment (CI/CD).
• Recommend innovative solutions that can be beneficial to the company.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in Backend Development (C# and related technologies)
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
• Strong SQL skills, preferably with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Strong skills in creating & consuming APIs (rate limiting, caching, speed, queues, etc.).
• Experience with communication patterns and messaging systems (e.g., Rabb itMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus)
• Knowledge of software design principles, best practices, and modern design patterns.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
• Experience using Git (GitHub).
• Team player.
• Intrinsically motivated & a positive attitude.
• Strong English language skills (verbal & written).
• Experience with authorization and security.
• Experience with structured logging.
• Private repository (Github) required.
• Knowledge of MVC.
• Knowledge of microservices.
• Basic Knowledge Frontend: HTTP protocols.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of Blazor.
• Knowledge of gRPC.
• Knowledge of Angular and reactive programming principles.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
