[Remote] Senior Front-end Engineer

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining modern, responsive user interfaces for web applications
• Translating product requirements and UX designs into high-quality, performant front-end code, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers
• Implementing reusable components, optimizing page load and rendering performance, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, and integrating with APIs and backend services
• Review code, mentor other engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and uphold best practices in accessibility, security, and maintainability
• Participation in sprint planning, proactive issue troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the front-end development workflow and tooling

Skills

• Strong Front-End Development skills, including modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular), HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with Responsive Web Design and building pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces across devices and browsers
• Proficiency in Web Development fundamentals, including performance optimization, security considerations, and API integration
• Understanding of Software Development practices such as version control (Git), testing, code review, and CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with Back-End Web Development concepts to effectively collaborate with backend teams and integrate front-end with services
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in remote, distributed teams and strong communication skills for async collaboration
• Ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor peers, and contribute to front-end architecture and best practices
