Account Executive - Codup

About the role

Codup is a digital transformation consultancy for mid-market B2B operators. We don't sell development hours - we architect systems and own platforms for serious businesses, and we sell that way too: consultatively, through sharp questions, research, and a real understanding of the client's business. This is a role for a capable salesperson ready to step into high-value, consultative B2B selling. If you take pride in how you sell - not just whether you close - you'll fit in well here.

Experience

• 2-4 years in a sales role (any B2B or solution-selling environment).
• A demonstrable track record you can speak to in specifics: deals you owned, pipeline you built, targets you hit, and how you did it.
• Experience working to defined targets and quotas, with a working understanding of a sales funnel and how deals move through its stages.
• Hands-on experience selling to or communicating with senior, professional stakeholders.
• Comfortable providing references from previous employers

• Own deals end to end - from first conversation through discovery, proposal, and close - as the AE of record on your accounts.
• Run strong discovery: ask sharp, well-informed questions that get to the heart of a client's business problem. Research and qualify accounts in depth, primarily through LinkedIn and other open sources, and turn that research into a clear point of view on the prospect.
• Build and deliver client-facing presentations - and present them confidently and clearly.
• Manage your pipeline rigorously and keep it accurate against targets.
• Use AI tools fluently across research, analysis, drafting, and preparation.
• Represent Codup professionally in every client interaction, in writing and on calls.

• Excellent spoken and written English - this is non-negotiable. You should be eloquent, articulate, and able to hold your own with senior decision-makers.
• Strong research and analysis skills, with the ability to synthesize findings into a clear narrative.
• Creativity and resourcefulness - you can frame a problem in a way the client hasn't heard before.
• Genuinely AI-enabled: already using AI tools in your work and keen to push further.
• B2B eCommerce experience is a strong plus.
