Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and discreet Finance Manager to lead the financial operations within a Shared Service Center (SSC) environment. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of financial processes across
multiple business units. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial management, process optimization, and team leadership within a shared services or multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations within the SSC, including AP, AR, GL, and reporting functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business units and ensure alignment with corporate financial policies.
- Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Monitor compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and documentation accuracy.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a shared services or multinational environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish. Fluency in both is required.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, internal controls, and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
