Tech Project Manager - GCP Data Migration

We are hiring an experienced Data Project Manager to lead large-scale Data Migration and Cloud Modernisation Programs involving migration from legacy platforms such as Oracle & Informatica to modern cloud ecosystems including GCP, BigQuery, and dbt.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Oracle and Informatica migration programs to GCP.
• Drive project planning, governance, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Architects, QA, Business Analysts, and SMEs.
• Oversee migration planning, testing, reconciliation, cutover, and production deployment.
• Ensure successful implementation of data governance, metadata, lineage, and quality frameworks.
• Manage executive reporting, steering committee reviews, and delivery milestones.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Data Project Management.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale Cloud Data Migration and Data Transformation programs.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and delivery management capabilities.
• Experience with Collibra, Alation, or Informatica Data Governance.
• Prior experience in Banking, BFSI, Insurance, or Healthcare domains.
• PMP, PRINCE2 Scrum Master, or equivalent certifications.
• Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Platforms, or AWS.
• Experience in Data Project / Program Management, including Data Migration and Data Modernisation Programs.
• Strong expertise in GCP (Google Cloud Platform), BigQuery, Oracle Database, Informatica PowerCenter, and dbt.
• Strong knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, ETL/ELT Architecture, Data Warehousing, and Data Modelling.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum Delivery.
