Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) with expertise in Pega Infinity and Constellation Architecture to design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale business process management solutions. The candidate will play a key role in solution design, technical leadership, and delivery of Pega applications while ensuring adherence to Pega best practices and architectural standards.

The role requires strong technical expertise, solutioning capabilities, team leadership, and collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

• Participate in solution design workshops and technical discussions with business and project stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable Pega solutions.
• Develop application designs aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.
• Create and review technical design documents, specifications, and solution approaches.
• Ensure solutions adhere to Pega guardrails, industry best practices, and Constellation design principles.
• Support architecture reviews and provide recommendations for technical improvements.

Pega Development & Technology Leadership

• Design, configure, and implement applications using Pega Infinity and Constellation.
• Develop complex case management workflows, business rules, integrations, and UI components.
• Implement REST/SOAP integrations and interface solutions with external systems.
• Configure security, data models, decisioning, notifications, and correspondence features.
• Troubleshoot application performance issues and recommend optimization strategies.
• Support deployment activities and production releases.

Technical Governance & Quality

• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards.
• Ensure adherence to Pega guardrails and performance best practices.
• Participate in estimation, sprint planning, and technical impact assessments.
• Identify technical risks and propose mitigation actions.
• Contribute to reusable assets, frameworks, and technical accelerators.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, and Development Teams.
• Participate in requirement clarification sessions and solution walkthroughs.
• Communicate technical solutions and implementation approaches to stakeholders.
• Support UAT, defect triage, and production support activities.

Team Leadership & People Management

• Mentor and guide System Architects (SAs) and junior developers.
• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day support to development teams.
• Assist in onboarding and skill development of team members.
• Support project managers in effort estimation, resource planning, and delivery tracking.
• Promote knowledge sharing and adoption of development best practices.
• Contribute to performance feedback and capability development initiatives.

• Strong experience in Pega Infinity Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Pega Constellation Architecture.
• Case Management and Workflow Design.
• Pega Data Pages and Data Modeling.

• Correspondence and Document Generation.

Technology Skills

• Java fundamentals.
• SQL and Database concepts.
• Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• REST APIs and Microservices.
• Version control tools (Git, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• CI/CD concepts.
• Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) - preferred.
• Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Required Experience

• 6-8 years of overall IT experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Pega development experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale Pega implementations.
• Experience working in Agile project environments.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and software design principles.
• Proven experience leading technical workstreams and guiding development teams.
