Project Description

This role is part of an Android platform team working at the intersection of Android development and DevOps. The team focuses on improving the stability and speed of CI/CD processes, application modularization, testing, build and release workflows, automation, and developer experience for Android development.

What You'll Do

• Improve the stability, speed, and reliability of CI/CD processes for Android development;
• Contribute to refactoring initiatives and the decomposition of the application into modules;
• Build and maintain unit tests and automated quality checks that support reliable releases;
• Automate Android build and release workflows and improve developer tooling;
• Use AI agents to help streamline development and change-validation workflows;
• Follow established coding standards and development guidelines;
• Perform regular code reviews, including cross-team pull request reviews;
• Collaborate effectively within a distributed international team;

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on Android development experience with Kotlin, including Kotlin Coroutines;
• Experience with Android build and release processes and CI/CD tools, including Azure and GitHub Actions;
• Experience with refactoring and modularization of Android applications;
• Strong experience with unit testing and automated quality checks;
• Experience using AI agents or AI-assisted development tools in coding or testing workflows;
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology;
• Proven communication skills in English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher;
• Readiness to attend regular meetings with teams in India and the United States within the approximate time window of 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM UTC;
