Columbia Beach Resort is looking for an accomplished and inspiring Executive Chef to lead our Culinary Team and oversee all kitchen operations across the Resort.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences while ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, operational efficiency, cost control, food safety and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Resort’s Culinary Team across all kitchens and F&B outlets
• Oversee the preparation, production, presentation and quality of all food served throughout the Resort
• Develop and continuously enhance menus in line with the Resort’s standards, guest expectations and culinary trends
• Ensure consistency in recipes, portioning, presentation and overall food quality
• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, food safety and HACCP compliance
• Ensure compliance with the Resort’s established policies, procedures and ISO Food Safety Management System
• Manage food costs, consumption, wastage and kitchen-related operational expenses
• Establish and monitor appropriate food cost and productivity targets
• Work closely with Purchasing to ensure the quality, availability and cost-effectiveness of ingredients and products
• Monitor stock levels, storage practices and inventory controls
• Plan staffing requirements and ensure effective scheduling according to operational needs
• Recruit, train, coach and develop culinary team members
• Establish clear performance expectations and promote accountability, teamwork and professional development
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, organization, equipment care and workplace safety
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage Management Team on restaurant concepts, functions, weddings, banqueting and special events
• Support the development of seasonal menus, special promotions and new culinary concepts
• Monitor guest feedback and implement appropriate improvements
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and overall F&B business planning
• Promote sustainable kitchen practices, responsible sourcing and effective food-waste reduction

Candidate Profile

• Significant experience in a senior culinary leadership position, preferably as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef within a 5★ hotel or luxury resort
• Strong experience managing multiple kitchen operations and diverse F&B outlets
• Excellent culinary knowledge and a strong understanding of contemporary hospitality and dining trends
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate and develop a large multicultural culinary team
• Strong knowledge of food costing, budgeting, inventory management and cost control
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene and food safety requirements
• Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
• Commercial awareness combined with a strong commitment to culinary quality
• Ability to perform effectively in a demanding luxury hospitality environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of English; knowledge of Greek will be considered an advantage
• Relevant culinary qualifications from a recognized culinary school or institution
