Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications, backend services, and data solutions.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Integrate data from multiple sources and systems to support business and operational requirements.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, databases, and data models.
- Build applications, scripts, and automation solutions using Python, Java, or other relevant programming languages.
- Develop and integrate APIs for application and data connectivity.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Implement monitoring and alerting for applications, data pipelines, and data processes.
- Optimize software, database, and data-processing performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Participate in software development, testing, deployment, debugging, and ongoing maintenance.
- Ensure data integrity, reliability, and security across applications and data pipelines.
Job Requirements:
- Singapore Citizens only.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in software development, data engineering, or a combination of both.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database technologies.
- Hands-on experience with data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Good understanding of database design and data modelling.
- Experience with API development and system integration.
- Familiarity with software development practices, including testing, debugging, version control, and deployment.
- Experience with data integration, data-processing, or analytics tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern data technologies is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Able to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
