Job Summary
The Solutions Architect within FreeWheel’s Global Client Solutions organization is responsible for designing and guiding scalable, integrated solutions that address complex client and business requirements across FreeWheel’s platform. This role partners closely with Product, Engineering, and Client Solutions teams to shape solution strategy, influence technical design, and ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and operational standards.The role leads complex and non-standard client engagements, serving as the primary technical liaison across internal and external stakeholders while owning solution design from concept through deployment. It provides direct technical guidance to clients, drives alignment across teams, and ensures successful implementation of high-impact solutions. In addition, the role contributes to the development of solution frameworks, best practices, and internal tools to drive consistency, efficiency, and technical excellence across the organization.
Job Description
Technical Solution Design & Strategy
· Lead the design of technical solutions that span multiple products and align with client requirements.
· Represent Global Client Solutions in strategy discussions, project planning, and design reviews.
· Drive technical risk assessments and impact analyses to validate solution feasibility, confirm implementation readiness, and mitigate delivery risks.
· Represent the organization in industry forums to monitor emerging technologies, share best practices, and introduce innovative ideas.
Product Lifecycle Engagement
· Participate early in the lifecycle, including concept brief evaluation, design reviews, and pilot planning.
· Partner with Product and Engineering teams to ensure designs meet business requirements, and scalability and serviceability standards.
Client Engagement
· Act as the primary technical liaison for complex, non-standard deals.
· Support clients through solution design, implementation planning, and technical escalations.
Internal Innovation & Impact
· Develop internal tools, best practices, documentation, and training curriculums to improve team efficiency.
· Mentor team members on solution architecture and technical design principles.
· Introduce process improvements and tools to enhance solution design and delivery.
· Ensure technical excellence and operational readiness for complex client needs.
Leadership Focus
· Lead complex implementations and ensure technical solutions meet performance and scalability standards.
· Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated solutions.
· Establish and enforce architectural principles, performance benchmarks, and scalability standards for complex implementations.
· Mentor technical teams and develop frameworks, documentation, and training to elevate solution design excellence.
· Champion innovation by introducing new tools, processes, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and client success.
Qualifications
Schedule: Onsite 4days per week in the New York office.

Required
· 5+ years of experience within the ad tech industry, demonstrating deep expertise in solutioning, client engagement, and platform strategy.
· Demonstrated expertise of FreeWheel product offerings and ability to collaborate with internal teams to devise strategies for complex client needs.
· Proven ability to design scalable, integrated solutions that span multiple products and align with complex client requirements.
· Expertise in cross-product solution architecture and systems integration, ensuring performance and scalability standards.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency, operational excellence, and scalability.
· Excellent communication and leadership abilities to drive cross-functional collaboration and mentor technical teams.
· Experience working directly with third-party technology vendors in designing, deploying, and servicing solutions at scale.
· Hands-on experience with end-to-end programmatic ad serving workflows, with emphasis on sell-side platforms and latest protocols.
· Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain product functionality, technical design, and limitations to stakeholders across teams and levels.
· Demonstrated track record of software implementation and systems integration excellence.
· Ability to evaluate customer requirements and influence internal priorities to deliver enterprise-level solutions.
· Ability to analyze large data sets to inform business decisions and solution strategies.
· Proven ability to lead complex implementations and drive large-scale projects with open collaboration, strong leadership, and attention to client success.
Technical Skills
· Working knowledge of and experience with:
o IAB standards including IAB V-Suite, OpenRTB, Privacy Frameworks.
o Streaming protocols: HLS, DASH.
o Programmatic ad serving workflows and protocols.
o Data analysis and processing: SQL, cURL, Snowflake, Looker.
o Web technologies: HTTP, HTML5, XML.
o Object-Oriented Programming: JavaScript, Python.
o Developing against RESTful APIs.
o Data Visualization tools: Kibana, Grafana, Loki.

New York Pay Range: $126,050.05 - $189,075.08Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
