In this Home Lending Specialist role, you’ll support customers through some of their most important financial decisions while building on your capability as a lender. You’ll work across purchasing, refinancing and everyday lending needs, delivering tailored solutions and guiding customers through the home buying journey. With a strong focus on business development, you’ll build your presence at our Elizabeth Branch and within the local community, contributing to a growing lending pipeline through customer conversations and referral relationships. Working closely with branch teams and specialist partners, you’ll manage lending applications end-to-end and play a key role in delivering great outcomes for your customers.

You’ll be joining our Customer Service Lending team - a high-performing, supportive environment where collaboration and customer outcomes come first. As a Home Lending Specialist based at our Elizabeth Branch, you’ll build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and the local community while generating opportunities and growing your network. You’ll be supported by a strong team while having the autonomy to build your profile as a lender, contribute to team success and take an active role in driving lending growth in the local market.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building your lending pipeline through strong branch presence, customer conversations, referral relationships and local community engagement

• Supporting customers through the home buying journey with tailored lending solutions and great service

• Leading lending conversations to understand customer needs and identify the right solutions

• Managing lending applications end-to-end, including more complex lending scenarios where your experience allows

• Developing and maintaining referral relationships both inside and outside the branch network

• Partnering closely with branch colleagues and specialist teams to deliver seamless customer outcomes

• Ensuring all applications meet credit policy, regulatory and responsible lending requirements

• Contributing to a high-performing team culture and lending growth at Elizabeth Branch and across the local market

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in home lending, banking or a customer-facing financial services role

• We welcome applications from both developing lenders and more experienced Home Lending Specialists

• A proactive mindset and genuine interest in building a network and generating new opportunities

• Confidence engaging customers and identifying lending opportunities through conversation

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Sound lending, credit and policy knowledge, or the willingness and ability to develop this capability

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organised in a fast-paced environment

• High attention to detail and commitment to compliance and quality outcomes

• For more experienced applicants, the ability to bring established lending capability, business development experience and strong relationship management skills will be highly regarded
